As Inquirer have already reported that the camp of Rodrigo Duterte has filed treason and espionage charges against President Aquino and Trillanes today, May 8, 2016, it is inevitable that on Monday, tomorrow, May 9, 2016, the day of the 2016 Elections, both of them will be taken by the police and imprisoned until a hearing is set. Both Trillanes and the President had been accused of conniving together last year for "undertaking “back-channel talks” with China that “only advanced [the] interest of our Asian neighbor.” See the full report HERE.
Furthermore, Inquirer reported that, "...the filing came as Trillanes publicly accused Duterte, the front-runner in the presidential race, of having millions of pesos in undeclared bank accounts."
